Director of International Education

Thomas has been working with international students since 2006 and at the Peralta Colleges since 2008. He has a BA in History and MA Latin American & Iberian Studies from the University of Santa Barbara. Thomas began working with international students at EF International in Santa Barbara as an ESL Teacher, Administrative Assistant, and RA while attending graduate school at UC Santa Barbara. Afterwards, he began his career at the Peralta Colleges as an Advisor and now as the Director of the program. Thomas is passionate about family, baseball, and travel. Thomas has visited half of the professional baseball stadiums in America. He also loves to explore new cities, countries, and cultures. During college, Thomas studied abroad in Santiago, Chile for a year. Thomas has visited many countries in the western hemisphere and excited about more visits to Asia, Africa, and Europe in the near future.

• Oversee and manage Office of International Education
• Develop and direct programs and strategies to enhance student success and retention
• Cultivate internal and external relationships
• Ensure compliance with DHS
• Schedule a Meeting
